about
Roughly Translated, The title of this song means “We Are Not Ants, We Are Giants.” Although there are many people on the planet, it is our ideas and our plans that can make us huge. There is an old mural in San Juan, Puerto Rico with this quote painted alongside such leaders as Cesar Chavez, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela, and other such freedom fighters. Despite being a speck on the globe, these figures had enormous visions. They made the transformation and are no longer ants, they are giants.
lyrics
all these distractions are taken from me,
I wish you were home to form out these plans
the doors have closed, and I'm all alone.
It all begins - place your hands safe at your side
even when the world starts to lean, plant your feet.
a day will come when we'll forget,
everything we were not yet we should have been.
make a note of it we're just off to keep it solved.
We're off for all that's lost.
Where do we go?
I feel like I'm flying.
I'm eager to meet you again.
in place of these empty lines.
they're reaching that new height.
and they’re trapping us inside.
We’re off for all that’s lost
We’re off for all that's solved.
It’s comfortable
